
North Texas has trudged through another battle week against coronavirus. But today there’s good news. About time!
The North Texas nonprofits are looking to the future and scheduling activities to the fall. In addition to the ahead-of-the-times North Texas Cares program, the hardworking area nonprofits are looking to summer and fall regrouping and thriving.
Here is today’s rundown of developments:
Cancellations
- Family Gateway’s Day To Play scheduled for Saturday, April 25, at Annette Strauss Artist Square
- Belle and Sparrow’s Birdies For Belles on Tuesday, April 28
Postponement
- Earthx Global Gala scheduled for Friday, April 24, at The Staler Hotel is postponed to the Fall
Rescheduled
- Nasher Sculpture Center’s Great Create scheduled for Sunday, April 26, at the Nasher Sculpture Center is rescheduled for Sunday, September 13
- Our Friends Place‘s Gala scheduled for Saturday, May 2, at Renaissance Dallas Hotel, is rescheduled for Saturday, October 27
Virtual
- 50th Anniversary of Earth Day Celebration scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, will be live-streamed
- Earthx Expo scheduled for Thursday, April 23, to Monday, April 27, will be virtual
