While the folks patio-ing along McKinney and Lower Greenville were celebrating the news Thursday that the fully vaccinated could doff their masks, a sold-out crowd at the Nasher Sculpture Center had three reasons to toast — the maskless news, the beautiful weather in equally gorgeous surroundings and The Family Place’s ReuNight.
It was rather dizzying to see the return of lipsticked smiles framing full sets of ivories. But perhaps the biggest smiles of the night were those of 2021 ReuNight Co-Chairs Kristen Sanger and Lisa Singleton, who had a secret… but that will be revealed in tomorrow’s coverage of the night of fundraising.
