Like a supernova, news of The Family Place CEO Paige Flink’s successor was revealed on The Dallas Morning News website’s homepage at 12:16 p.m. Friday. But like a supernova, the story by reporter BeLynn Hollers suddenly disappeared almost as if it never existed.

The story didn’t appear in Saturday’s print edition. Perhaps it will show up in Sunday’s paper. However, the story is still alive on the internet reporting that Neiman Marcus VP Mimi Crume Sterling will join The Family Place in mid-September to take over the reins as Paige transitions to an advisor role.
